DMHCSM Values Education 2026-2027
"Year of Respect"
Respect in Action- From Self to the World
This academic year, our school is excited to introduce the values education theme "Year of Respect". Respect is the foundation of a positive, inclusive, and thriving school community. It shapes how students see themselves, treat others, engage with their families, contribute to society, and care for the world.
The “Year of Respect” aims to intentionally cultivate respectful attitudes and behaviors, and different values, across six key dimensions:
Respect for Oneself“Respect yourself—make Responsible choices”
Respect for Others“Treat others with Empathy; Act with Respect.”
Respect for Our Family “Respect your family—show Gratitude through words and actions. ”
Respect for Our Community“This is our school. We Commit to build Unity together.”
Respect for Our Country“Serve your country—act with Integrity and civic Responsibility.”
Respect for our Common Home “We share one Common Home”
The school will be launching a series of activities to nurture this important virtue in lives, alongside with related values, including Empathy, Integrity, Filial Piety, and National Identity.
