根據教育局於二零一六年十二月公布《STEM教育提升——釋放創新潛力》報告中，STEM教育可為學生預備未來全球經濟、科技發展以及迎接新挑戰。我校成立STEM教育小組，透過連接不同學科知識和技能，舉行課堂內、外的活動，來加強學生對科學、科技、數學等的學習興趣，建構知識，並應用於生活當中。此外，我校得到「學校IT創新實驗室計劃」的資助，添置學習器材，讓學生能參加更多STEAM的工作坊和比賽，擴闊視野。
STEAM education aligns with the global trend of equipping students for our world’s rapid economic, scientific, and technological developments, as well as for the changes and challenges in society and around the globe. Our school formed the STEAM Education team, aiming to strengthen students’ interest in learning science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Additionally, with funding from the ‘IT Innovation Lab in Schools,’ we acquired learning equipment, enabling students to participate in more STEAM workshops and competitions, thereby broadening their horizons.
The funding from the ‘IT Innovation Lab in Schools’ has provided crucial support for our students, enabling them to engage in a series of STEAM programs. These programs have deepened their understanding of STEAM education and equipped ambitious students to participate in various training courses and competitions. Additionally, our students have participated in STEAM study tours. These experiences have fostered a greater understanding of the country’s advancements in scientific and technological research.
