Reading broadens knowledge, sharpens critical thinking, and strengthens communication. It also nurtures curiosity and personal growth, helping students succeed in school and beyond.
To encourage a love of reading, our library offers a Reading Award Scheme that recognizes students' reading achievements and motivates them to explore new books.
This year, teachers from the eight key learning areas have curated a special book list for senior form girls. We invite students to enjoy these selections and join our Leisure Reading Competition by submitting a book summary for a chance to win awards and share your reading experience.

Library prefects are reading ambassadors and play a leading role in promoting leisure and extensive reading out of the lesson hours. Besides, to ensure the comfort of library users, the smooth operation of the library, and the effective display and promotion of the library collection, about 40 student librarians are recruited each year. Library prefects are trained to facilitate newspaper distribution, process new books, shelve books, tidy shelves and the library, display and promote books, and assist library users in finding information and specific books. They also perform other duties, including recommending books to all students during morning assemblies and assisting with Reading Week.
