Writers in Schools - Chinese Writing Programme
Our school invited Mr Leung Wai-lok, an author, to conduct a writing workshop at our school to encourage students who were passionate about writing to develop their writing potentials through the guidance of the author and the activities of the workshop .
Writers on Campus Recruitment Scheme 2024/2025

Our students 3C Kwok Man Lam participated in the "Writers on Campus Recruitment Scheme 2024/2025" organized by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. In the programme, the organizers invited writers to share their creative experiences with the participating students and broaden their horizons. During the program, students from different schools could share their creative inspirations with each other and enhance their writing skills. Kwok Man Lam has demonstrated exceptional talent by composing a prose collection approximately 50,000 words.
Achieving Carbon Neutrality Student Ambassador Training Scheme 2024/25

In the past year the junior form science curriculum aims to broaden students' perspectives and enhance their understanding of climate change and carbon neutrality. 8 students in the second year have been nominated to cultivate a sense of responsibility and commitment to environmental protection among their peers, encouraging them to practice energy conservation, waste reduction, and a low-carbon lifestyle through resource recycling. The 8 students participated in four online seminars and 2 field activities, including topics such as: Climate Change and Extreme Weather, Strategies for Hong Kong to Address Climate Change and Achieve Carbon Neutrality, Green Energy, and Green Transportation. This significantly enhances the students' sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation, with the hope of effectively promoting environmental protection within the school.

Piano Masterclass 2024
Guest Pianist: Mr. William Fu
The aim of the event was to provide a chance for talented pianists to receive comments on their performing skills. All students were also welcomed to sit-in the class and 20 students attended. Four students, 1A Toni Chu, 3B Vincy Mok, 3B Bella So, 3D Rubie Chung, were chosen to perform their competition repertoires and coached by Mr. Fu. The chosen students showed positive feedback after the event and found the masterclass useful in enhancing their performing skills. 1A Toni Chu and 3D Rubie Chung got a champion and a 2nd-runner-up in the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival where they played the same piece coached by Mr. Fu. Students as the audience also raised a few questions on stage performance and showed eagerness to improve their skills.

Writers on Campus Recruitment Scheme 2023/2024
Our students 4C Ho Sze Yung participated in the "Writers on Campus Recruitment Scheme 2023/2024" organized by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. In the programme, the organizers invited writers, editors and documentary filmmakers to share their creative experiences with the participating students and broaden their horizons. During the program, students from different schools could share their creative inspirations with each other and enhance their writing skills.
During the activities, students were able to meet many instructors who were engaged in writing work, such as writers, editors, reporters and directors, so that students could understand that there are many different possibilities in planning for the future, which was conducive to the development of career planning. From the instructor's creative stories, students also learned to persevere in writing, develop their interest in creative writing, and enhance their writing skills.

Genetic Engineering Training Programme 2023
Four Form Four students participated in the Genetic Engineering Training Program organized by the Creative Education Units, the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. They attended three-day full-day courses in either the Protein Stream and DNA Stream groups.
The training program provided an extensive coverage of knowledge in biotechnology and genetic engineering, allowing the students to gain a deeper understanding of both fields. The program offered hands-on experiments that were not typically available in school, enabling them to experience techniques such as bacterial cultivation and protein electrophoresis. These practical activities enhanced their experimental skills and techniques, providing them with a more enriching learning experience.
