Four of our students participated in the 59th Joint School Science Exhibition, held from 18 to 24 August at the Hong Kong Central Library. Participation in this event provided students with a valuable opportunity to cultivate their scientific curiosity while enhancing their analytical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills.

  • 2026-08-26 S6 Student Vivian Yip Receives the “St. John Bosco Award”

Established by the Leung Kwong Wing Education Fund, the St. John Bosco Award aims to honour St. John Bosco’s care for young people and to encourage students from the Salesian Family in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan to follow his spirit and strive for excellence. The award recognises students’ outstanding academic performance while encouraging them to demonstrate selfless dedication, care for young people, and a spirit of service to others, the school, and society. Awardees receive a certificate of commendation personally signed by the Rector Major of the Salesians, as well as a scholarship of HK$20,000.

Our Secondary 6 student, Vivian Yip , has received this distinguished award in recognition of her exemplary conduct and active commitment to service. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to her.

Vivian said that during her time studying at Siu Ming, she has always upheld her passion for faith and strived for balanced growth in academics, service, and evangelisation.

Vivian served as a choir leader for five years and actively participated in Catholic Society. She has been dedicated to fostering a religious atmosphere on campus and guiding her schoolmates to better understand the meaning and values of the Catholic faith. She has also made full use of her “talents” to serve the school and promote the spirit of St. John Bosco, demonstrating a strong witness of faith and setting an excellent example of service.

We warmly congratulate Vivian on receiving the St. John Bosco Award and wish her continued success as she embraces the spirit of faith, hope, and love, shines brightly on her future path, and serves more people in need.

Congratulations to all our performers on a truly memorable annual concert. Your year-round hard work, dedication, and passion were clearly reflected in every performance, and we are incredibly proud of all that you have achieved.

The concert began with the Chinese Orchestra, whose performance of A Stroll in Suti opened the morning with elegance and warmth. As the concert drew to a close, the choir’s tender rendition of Before We Grow Up brought the programme to a heartfelt finish, reminding us to treasure every moment, every voice, and every shared memory before we grow up. Its touching lyrics and warm harmonies gave the audience a beautiful and meaningful ending to an unforgettable celebration.

  • 2026-07-15 Sports Team Korea Training Tour 2026
  • 2026-07-14 ECA Student Leaders Training Camp

Originally planned as a two‑day, one‑night camp, the program was condensed into a single day due to weather conditions. Yet our S6 student leaders and S5 group leaders rose to the challenge with calmness and wisdom, guiding everyone through a day full of obstacles, growth, and laughter.

Even within the shortened schedule, teamwork shone brightly: students supported one another, divided tasks effectively, and faced challenges head‑on. Thanks to this spirit, the camp was successfully completed, leaving behind unforgettable memories and joyful moments.

Teamwork makes the dream work — we hope all students will carry this spirit into everyday life, embracing challenges with positivity and working together to create their own success stories.

  • 2026-07-14 We are SIUMINGIANS 2026

We are Siumingians 2026 is an activity organized by Life Planning Education & Career Guidance, with assistance from Past-Pupils Association to support its promotion. Through this programme, we hope to bring current students and graduates closer together, and to build a social network for all “Siumingians.”

This year, the We are Siumingians 2026 Mentorship Programme was held on July 4 (Saturday) at the school hall, where more than 20 mentors set up booths to introduce their professional fields. Form Five students took turns to learn from and exchange ideas with the mentors. The mentors showcased subject-related or career-related materials and photos, and even shared career exposure and experiences, helping students better understand current industry trends and the content of different disciplines.

During the event, students learned about the prospects of our school’s graduates and broadened their perspective on future planning. All the mentors expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to return to campus to share and exchange career insights. We would also like to offer our special thanks to all mentors who supported this year’s mentorship programme. If you are an alumnus and are interested in the programme, please keep an eye out for future promotion from Past-Pupils Association.
