Our student team is proudly participating in the "Fung Shing Livable Community: Tech-Idea Competition," applying human-centered design to address real-world community needs. Key highlights of their journey include:
Elderly Interviews & Home Visits (October 17)
Students visited Fung Shing Court in Sha Tin to conduct home visits and in-depth interviews. Guided by an evidence-based approach, they gained first-hand insights into the daily accessibility challenges faced by senior residents living in a hillside community.
Design Thinking Workshop at PolyU (October 31)
The team attended a hands-on Design Thinking Workshop at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Under professional guidance, students synthesized their field observations and brainstormed user-centered smart-aging tech solutions to enhance seniors' quality of life and foster intergenerational inclusion.
