On April 25, 2026, our school held a "Secondary One Classroom Experience Day". We invited Primary Six students from several primary schools to experience our Secondary One Science, English, and Mathematics lessons. In addition, a "Dream Fair" was set up, allowing the Primary Six students to take part in booth games and experience our school's campus life. Through the classroom experiences, campus tours, and activities, our school hoped to help the Primary Six students understand the learning modes of secondary school lessons and deepen their understanding of secondary school life.

We sincerely thanked all the primary school teachers, parents, and Primary Six students for visiting our school and participating in this Experience Day! We also greatly thanked our school's teachers and students for their thoughtful arrangements of the activities on this Experience Day.

From May 11 to 14, our school successfully hosted a 4-day school-based program during PE lessons: "Jockey Club Kai Tak Water Sports Centre AquaGames", bringing the thrill of water sports straight into our campus for S.2 to S.5 students!

Check out the three exciting highlights:

1.    Lifebuoy & CPR Challenge : Blending fun with practical lifesaving and first-aid skills.

2.    Land Rowing : On dry land, it’s all about unmatched synergy! With chants of "One, two! One, two!" echoing across the playground, team spirit was instantly ignited!

3.    Pool Kayaking Experience : An unprecedented water sports experience right on campus! Students teamed up in our specially set-up pool to unlock their kayaking skills. Seeing everyone go from initial panic to paddling forward with ease like pros was absolutely amazing—students across all grades made incredible progress!

Through sweat and laughter, students not only leveled up their teamwork, communication, and leadership skills, but also deeply embraced the Olympic spirit of "Respect, Friendship, and Excellence" while igniting their passion for water sports! 

On 18 May, we celebrated the Feast of Mary Help of Christians. We were truly honored to have Fr. Anthony Leung Po Tak to preside over the Mass. In his homily, Fr. Leung encouraged both teachers and students to follow the footsteps of Mary by being attentive to the needs of others—especially in today’s online world. Through love and compassion, we can become a light for others and kindle hope in their hearts.

All teachers and students joined together in the mass with grateful hearts, and concluded with the Action Song “Hail, Mary” (聖母頌).

After the Mass, students joyfully selected their favorite candies at the ‘Feast Day Candy Corner’, and shared the joy of the feast with one another.

May the Lord continue to grant us deeper faith. We pray that Mother Mary will keep interceding for all members of our Siumingian family, and help us to follow her footsteps—so that we may always walk with God and live out Hope and Joy.

We rejoice and celebrate the canonisation of Saint Sr. Maria Troncatti (FMA)! Presided over by Cardinal Joseph Chow Sau-yan, with Cardinal Joseph Zen and many priests, the mass was held at St. Francis of Assisi Church on 25 April 2026.

Over 120 teachers and students of our school joined the celebration, with our students served as the choir, singing to mark this special occasion of FMA, and to praise and give thanks to the Lord for His grace and blessings.

We are honored to be invited to visit The Mira Hong Kong, 18 S5 BAFS- business management students were able to have a look behind the scene of the operation of a hotel and talk with the Learning and Development manager, knowing more about the hotel and tourism industry.

We would like to express our gratitude to The Mira Hong Kong for the wonderful firm visit provided.

On 18 April, 12 of our students participated in the Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children Flag Day, co-organized by the Leo Club and The Sheep Fold. Our students actively engaged in raising essential funds for children and families in need. 

This meaningful event beautifully demonstrated our students' willingness to serve the community and helped further cultivate their sense of civic responsibility. We extend our sincerest gratitude to all the generous donors who supported this charitable initiative.

6D Kitty Gan and Doris Ng won the 1st runner-up of Science Docent Challenge 2026 held by the Hong Kong Space Museum and the Department of Physics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).

Congratulations to Our Alumna and Student on Receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation

The school extends its warmest congratulations to our alumna and current student who received the Sacrament of Confirmation at Mary Help of Christians Church this Easter.

We pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to guide their paths, strengthen their faith, and bless their lives with courage, wisdom, and joy. This is a significant milestone in their spiritual journey, and the entire school community rejoices in this special occasion with them.

We are delighted to share the highlights from our Life-wide Learning Day on 30/3/2026. Designed to bring learning beyond the traditional classroom, the day allowed students to gain hands-on experiences and broaden their real-world perspectives through diverse activities, company visits, and study tours.

Students engaged in thoughtfully themed local excursions. S1 students enjoyed a guided PSHE Field Trip exploring the Tsuen Wan community. Under the "Life and Nature" theme, S2 students participated in a Biodiversity Trip, a beach-cleaning activity, a wood upcycling workshop, a nature wellbeing day, and an overnight tenting camp. Focusing on "Career Exploration," S3 to S5 students gained practical industry insights during visits to Deloitte and ATAL.

Expanding their horizons further, S1 to S5 students also joined enriching study tours. Day trips included a Greater Bay Area Business Tour and an Ecological Exploration Tour. For deeper immersion, students embarked on multi-day expeditions, featuring a STEM & Food Culture Tour, a Zhengzhou Sister School Exchange, and a Cultural and Water Conservation Trip to Wuhan.

We are thrilled to have hosted a successful Cycling Experience Day, supported by the Jockey Club "Active School" Programme and the Hong Kong China Cycling Association (HKCFA).
For many students, this was their first time cycling on campus. The atmosphere was electric! Under the expert guidance of professional coaches, many students achieved the remarkable feat of learning to ride in just one session—conquering their fears and gaining a huge sense of accomplishment. The excitement was contagious, with several teachers even joining in the fun to cycle alongside their students, creating wonderful memories outside the classroom.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Jockey Club for its generous support and the HKCFA Coach Lai (HK National Mountain Bike Team Coach) and his coaching team for their professional instruction. Thank you for adding such a vibrant chapter to our school life!
