Junior Forms
  • To foster the students’ interest in Biology
  • To acquire some basic knowledge about the functioning principles of human beings.
Senior Forms
  • To help students master the basic concepts in the syllabus
  • To help students develop a more initiative and independent self-learning method
  • To help students acquire the skills of scientific investigation including hypothesizing, selecting appropriate apparatus, suggesting experimental procedures, analyzing the results and making a logical discussion.   
  • To develop students’ power to think creatively, analyze critically and scientifically on biological issues and to enhance students’ power to make rational decisions.
  • To develop students’ awareness of and concern for biological issues in personal, social, environmental and technological contexts. 

Curriculum Highlights

  • The subject content is often substantial and attractive to arouse students’ interest.
    Biological issues in all contexts are often easily found and the relationship between these issues and those biological principles help to promote biology as a lively and useful scientific subject to the students.
